Crafted from walnut and blackened solid timber, each plinth continues the material exploration the studio is renowned for, presenting timber in a way that is compositionally architectural yet cloaked in the texture of enchanted. A marker signalling the way to safety or a totem upon which a treasure is placed, each one rises from the ground, evoking a sense of growth and connection to the forest.
Each plinth celebrates the craftsmanship and origin of the wood from which they are shaped while presenting a striking contrast between their clean geometric lines and the organic texture of the ham-mered timber, reminding us of the towering trees they once were.
